2017 Yamaha FZ & Fazer BS4 Launched, Starts at 80,726 Now…

Yamaha has introduced the 2017 FZ range in India. Apart from making the motorcycles BS4 compliant, there are no other mechanical changes. All the motorcycles have received new customary colours.

For the fuel injected FZ, Yamaha seems to have done two changes..

  1. Changed the name of the colour to Barrel Red and Bomber Black (from Scorching Red and Panther Black). The theme remains identical!
  2. Increased the prices by Rs 530

2017 FZ-S FI

Yamaha has changed the colour palette of the FZ-S FI. It continues to be offered in a total of five colours. Apart from the Special Matt Green colour, all the other colours – Hurricane Gray, Knight Red, Lightning Cyan and Opal White are new. The motorcycle has seen a price increment of Rs 530.

2017 Fazer

For the Fazer BS4 as well, the price increment is Rs 530 and it is now offered in three new colours – Midnight Black, Burning Red and Marble White.

All the motorcycles continue with the 149 cc 2-valve SOHC fuel injected single cylinder engine capable of producing 13.2 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm. Yamaha has discontinued the carbureted FZ motorcycle. And so, the FZ range now starts from Rs 80,000+.



Yamaha Launches 2017 SZ-RR BS4

Yamaha has also launched the 2017 SZ-RR with a BS4 compliant engine and AHO (automatic headlight on). It gets new colours along with a price increment of Rs 1030. It is now available in Beast Black, Predator Cyan and Matt Green colours.
