Yulu Dex does not require license and could be used for deliveries of food, grocery, medicine and other essentials across small distances…
EV maker Yulu has come up with a new 2-wheeler that goes by the name Yulu DEX.
It is a custom-designed two-wheeler EV suitable for covering a shorter range that is suitable for delivery of food, grocery, and other essentials. With these electric two-wheelers, the rider doesn’t need a driving license.
This means a majority of unemployed but willing youth (who do not have license) can take up jobs as delivery boys and earn money for themselves. We can say that Yulu is empowering the youth with its Yulu DEX bike.
Yulu has joined hands with leading food and goods delivery providers. Jointly they will bring upto 10,000 Yulu DEX across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi and utilize it for conducting deliveries.
Yulu has plans to put the DEX on the roads by December 2021. The company will use its widespread network of Yulu Zones and battery charging points to ensure a seamless delivery service.
The target is zero downtime and increased earning potential for delivery agents.
Yulu electric bike can cover a range of up to 60 km per charge. It uses a Lithium-ion battery and can go up to a top speed of 25km/h. Yulu DEX also offers a 12 kg capacity for carrying luggage for delivery purposes. The scoot is available only on rental.
