Yamaha India is offering a 2-year standard warranty and 8-year extended warranty on the purchase of its scooter and motorcycle models.
Yamaha India has introduced a 10 year warranty program on its entire range of scooters and motorcycles in the country. The buyers will now get a 2-year standard warranty and 8-year extended warranty on the purchase of Yamaha two-wheelers. The 10-year warranty program will cover engine and electrical components, including the Fuel Injection (Fi) system. The scooter line-up, comprising of Ray ZR Fi, Fascino 125 Fi and Aerox 155 S, will be covered under warranty for up to 1 lakh km while the bikes such as FZ Series, R15, and MT-15 will get coverage of up to 1.25 lakh km.
The Japanese two-wheeler brand further announced that the ‘Total Warranty’ program has been rolled out free of cost for all the new customers, albeit for a limited period of time. After the initial duration, it will be offered at a nominal cost to the buyers. The biggest advantage of the 10-year warranty program is that it is fully transferable to subsequent owners, which further helps in increasing the resale value of a two-wheeler.

“This initiative aims to provide customers with greater assurance, long-term dependability, and enhanced value throughout their ownership experience. Yamaha’s 10-Year Total Warranty addresses these expectations by reducing overall ownership costs, improving service value, and supporting a worry-free riding experience over an extended period,” said the company in an official statement.
