New Yamaha FZ Vintage Edition Launched at 1.10 Lac; Gets Bluetooth

In a way, Yamaha was one of the pioneer of the premium 150cc segment when it introduced the ‘Lord of the Streets’ FZ more than a decade back. With its fat 140 mm rear tyre, massive looking fuel tank, it redefined the segment which has been dominated by the Apaches and Pulsars for the last many years.

Recently, the FZ received Bluetooth connectivity but it was limited to only the Dark Knight Edition. In a latest development, the company has now broadened the lineup with a new ‘VINTAGE’ Edition which becomes the second variant in the FZ portfolio to offer Smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth.

In terms of cosmetics, it is offered with what Yamaha says are ‘timeless vintage‘ graphics. But the most noticeable change is that brown leather finished single piece two level seat.

At that price, this is the most premium FZ in the lineup; it is costlier than the Dark Knight Edition by Rs 2000 and full Rs 5000 dearer than the standard FZ-S (non-Bluetooth connect models).
