Hero MotoCorp confirmed the launch of two new motorcycles in the coming 3-4 months in the Indian market during an investors call.
Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch two new motorcycles in the coming 3-4 months in the Indian market. The company was dethroned from the pole position by Honda in July 2025 domestic sales as it emerged as India’s best-selling two-wheeler brand. Now, in what seems to be an attempt to regain the lost ground, the home-grown automaker has confirmed that it will expand its motorcycle portfolio in the Indian market by introducing two new models. In this piece, we will talk in detail about the 2 upcoming Hero bikes in India.
1. Hero Glamour: Recently, the 2025 Hero Glamour was leaked online ahead of its official debut in the country. The new model of the brand’s 125cc bike was spotted with cruise control feature. In addition, it also had the Xtreme 250R’s LCD display. The bike is expected to be launched during the festive season in the Indian market while becoming the most affordable motorcycle to come with cruise control.

Hero MotoCorp has two more 125cc models on sale besides the Glamour in the form of Splendor and Xtreme 125R. “In the 125cc category, Xtreme is positioned for performance. Then there is style, where the Glamour is positioned, with the Super Splendor holding the baton for efficiency. There are three very distinct audiences, and each of these three products has a very strong value proposition,” Hero’s top brass told the investors.
“We are augmenting the portfolio further in this quarter, too, making us stronger in each of these three vectors, and we believe that will help us further improve market share in the 125cc segment,” added Hero MotoCorp management on the investors call. Presently, Hero’s market share in the 111-125cc segment is around 12.8 percent which is quite behind Honda and Bajaj.
2. New Hero 440cc Bike: Hero MotoCorp recently discontinued its flagship motorcycle, the Mavrick 440, from the Indian market. Developed in partnership with Harley-Davidson, it could barely survive for 18 months in the domestic market. However, as per reports, Hero is ready to introduce a new 440cc bike in the country very soon, indicating a launch around the festive season of Diwali.

Though details are scarce at the moment about the upcoming Hero 440cc motorcycle, but it is likely to be the Mavrick 440 Scrambler as the company had filed a trademark for this moniker while also patenting its design. If true, it will be a direct rival to the Royal Enfield Scram 440. Undoubtedly, it will be a bit more expensive than the Mavrick 440 which came in a price range of Rs 1.99-2.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
