TVS Motors should be ecstatic having piped Bajaj Auto for the third spot in Indian Two Wheeler market and they have an interesting product portfolio planned for this year to further create stir in the market.
Although their bigger capacity bike plans with BMW are still to see the light of the day, they have their eyes set on scooters and smaller motorcycles. A report published on Business Standard shares that TVS has plans to launch at least one new product in each quarter of this year.
They have delayed a couple of new products to pay proper heed to the rise in demand of the existing and newly launched products. So, here are the three upcoming launches from TVS…
Scooty Zest:
According to the report, the first to come will be Scooty Zest which will be launched in August. It was planned for a launch in June earlier. Showcased at the Auto Expo, Scooty Zest is powered by the 110cc mill from the Star City.
It gets features likeĀ 19 liters under-seat storage, handy backlit instrumentation cluster, and a rated economy of 62kmpl.
New Victor:
Older 100cc TVS Victor was a motorcycle which was applauded for what it offered. It was also a pretty good seller for the company but for some reasons TVS culled that brand, only to realize now that they may do good with it again!

BikeAdvice was the first publication which featured spy pics of a TVS mule (one of which is featured above) which looked like a comprehensively revamped Phoenix. We realize that there is a big possibility of TVS launching this new motorcycle, most probably a 125cc, under the brand name of Victor.
Launch is slated for December, 3 months later than what was earlier planned. This has reportedly been done majorly, to deal with the new Star City.
New Apache:
Now, there have been various reports about the engine capacity of new TVS Apache but what is almost confirmed is that a new bike under the brand name of ‘Apache’ will be launched in India. This new Apache, according to Business Standard, will be launched in the last quarter of this financial year ie between January to March 2015.

Various speculations point at the magical figure of 250cc as the displacement of the new Apache. This holds more ground considering that TVS‘ Draken Concept showcased at the Auto Expo was also a quarter liter motorcycle. And if what we feel goes true, we are up for a stonker of a prospect…
