After TVS Ronin price slash, it has become more competitive in its segment. There is a new festive variant that has been launched too..
Ronin is TVS’ first product in the lifestyle segment – a segment that is ruled by Royal Enfield. And while everybody is trying to snatch a pie from here, things have largely remained unchallenged – to a Great extent! Ronin, in isolation, is a brilliant motorcycle, however, when looked at in comparison against the might of other offerings – predominantly Royal Enfield Hunter – which costs the same – it pales out in the eyes of common bikers.
Ronin has been trying to establish itself but it will definitely take a few more products from TVS to set-up some base in this uncharted territory. Till we get them, TVS is trying all it can to do as well as it can with its Ronin. Introduced at a fairly good price of nearly Rs 1.50 Lakh, Ronin has seen a big price cut. The roadster cruiser now starts at Rs 1.35 Lakh ex-showroom for the entry SS variant.
This means that the motorcycle is now fairly cheaper than Royal Enfield’s most affordable Hunter. And, in fact, it is now more affordable than sibling Apache 200 4V. It must be noted that only the base SS variant has seen a price correction.
Apart from taking the entry variant down, TVS has also introduced a new festive edition higher up the order. The special festive edition of Ronin is offered in new Midnight Blue color and comes at Rs 1.72 Lakh ex-showroom.
