In 2017, TVS took a big leap and ventured in the over 200cc segment – with the introduction of the Apache RR 310. The full faired motorcycle was immediately applauded for its beautiful design and proportions. It also packed in a lot of features and had fair bit of oomph.
Since then, TVS has consistently been updating its flagship motorcycle and it was joined by its streetfighter sibling last year. Interestingly, the naked version had more features and higher power figures and it was a given that the flagship RR will get updated in the days to come.
TVS took this festive season as an opportune time to launch the 2024 Apache RR 310 – which comes with fair bit of changes and here I list them all…
2024 Apache RR 310 Changes
Mechanical Updates
First up, surprisingly, TVS has managed to extract more power from the same 312cc reverse inclined motor. The new Apache now produces 38 PS of peak power at 9800 rpm and 29 Nm of max torque at 7900 rpm. As compared to the older model, the new one churns full 4 PS of higher power and 1.7 Nm of more torque.
As compared to its Streetfighter sibling, the RR produces 2.4 PS and 0.3 Nm of higher power and torque respectively. This makes the RR the most powerful motorcycle among all the 310 platform based TVS and BMW motorcycles.
Styling
TVS hasn’t tinkered with what is already a handsome motorcycle. We only see the inclusion of winglets on the fairing that churns 3 kilogram of down force. While these wings have definitely been useful on high powered racing motorcycles on the track, it will be interesting to see how much of a difference do they add to the new RR.
Colors
TVS has discontinued the black shade from the palette. In comes a new Bomber Grey color which looks fresh. The other tone is the red shade that appears similar to the older versions. And then there is the Race Replica scheme that is offered through the company’s BTO scheme. Another minor add-on is the transparent clutch cover which is a segment-first.
Features
The 2024 Apache RR 310 comes with interesting features like cornering ABS, cornering traction control, rear wheel lift-off control, cruise control and bi-directional Quickshifter. All of this makes the new Apache quite a tech-rich machine!

These are ex-showroom prices and do note that the Bomber Grey shade is not available without the Quickshifter option. For reference, the older Apache RR 310 was offered at Rs 2.72 Lac – which means the price rise has been Rs 3000. Then there is also the option of BTO kits.
