TVS Raider has been accepted really well in the market. The Chennai based maker desperately wanted volumes in this 125cc segment but it did not go with an out and out commuter product. Instead, it ventured out there with a sporty motorcycle – that had a lot of elements going well with it. And fortunately, for the brand it clicked and in fact, Raider is now one of the best selling motorcycle in TVS’ portfolio.
To further build on the image, TVS has launched snazzy Super Squad Editions of its Raider. There are two models based on popular Marvel characters – Iron Man and Black Panther. The Iron Man Raider comes with stylish graphics all over the body on base red color. The Black Panther gets purple colored graphics on the overall body on the base black color. It will attract buyers who like these characters and want their Raiders to be different from others.
TVS already offers such editions on its NTorq and the response would have been good that they are trying to replicate it on their 125cc motorcycle now.

Though TVS hasn’t specified but these special edition Raiders appear to be based on the middle split seat version (which comes with negative LCD instrument cluster and does not feature smartxonnect Bluetooth feature) which means that the price increment is Rs 2700 – for the new livery.

There aren’t any mechanical changes and the motorcycle continues to churn 8.37 KW (11.38 PS) of peak power and 11.2 Nm of max torque from its 124.8 cc motor. The Super Squad Raider will be available across all TVS dealerships. To know how good the motorcycle is, check out our review below..
