Naked Apache 310 launch date could have just been teased (and confirmed) by TVS in its new video. Also hear out its rumble in a spy video..
TVS Motor has teased what appears to be a new launch. The short video asks everybody to block the date of 6th September 2023 and has a tagline – “RESTLESS TO PLAY”. The co-ordinates mentioned here point to a location in Bangkok, Thailand.
Now, we do not have a confirmation on this, but this could be the naked Apache 310 that has been spotted testing couple of times earlier. What further adds to the belief is the tagline that fits a streetfighter perfectly. Here is the teaser video..
Streetfighter motorcycles always find more acceptance in the market because of their wider usage than dedicated sports motorcycles. Hence, the upcoming naked Apache 310 would hold prime importance and could become a bigger seller for TVS than the already brilliant RR 310.
On the sidelines of this teaser, the big Apache has been snapped once again reveling the very sweet exhaust note. This sighting is a clear giveaway that TVS is very serious about this model and isn’t just cross-badging the BMW G310R. Here is the video…
Though the platform could be same, but right from the styling to the exhaust note to, possibly, features, TVS will have its version completely different from the German maker’s model.
From what we have seen, the naked Apache 310, which could be called as Apache RTX 310 (based on a recent patent filing by TVS), sports a very edgy styling – something on the lines of the KTMs. There is a low-set, slapped LED headlamp (that could have split beams), a cluster that is different from the RR (but is sure to feature Bluetooth connectivity), a raised tank with pointed scoops and an upswept tail.

The rider sits in a semi-sporty posture with a fairly raised handlebar position and rear-set footpegs. It will carry the same 310cc, responsive motor and power and torque figures are also expected to be similar. However, TVS may tune it differently for its new application.
Expect fireworks when it arrives as this looks to be a direct KTM rival. We are excited to ride it out and its just a matter of few days…
