TVS has added yet another edition to its popular Ntorq scooter – NTORQ 125 Race XP. However, unlike the other variants on offer, the Ntorq Race XP comes with a tweaks to the engine as well as many more features.

Ntorq Race XP Features & Changes

At the heart sits the same 124.8cc, 3-valve air cooled engine but it now produces 10.2 PS of peak power at 7000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm. This is 0.80 PS and 0.3 Nm higher than all the other variants of the scooter. That also makes the Ntorq Race XP as the only 125cc scooter to churn over 10 PS of power. TVS says this has been achieved by improving gas flow dynamics and combustion.

Coming from the lineage of race-oriented two-wheelers, the new NTORQ 125 offers two riding modes – also a first in the segment. These are Race Mode and Street Mode. The new Ntorq Race XP is also 2 kilos lighter. All these changes make the scooter faster and it can now achieve a claimed top speed of 98km/h.

Street mode, as the name suggests is useful during commuting on a busy traffic. In this mode, the rider will get better fuel efficiency and a smooth-riding experience. The Race Mode offers enhanced acceleration.

Under the aggressive design of the new NTORQ 125 Race XP, TVS has utilized advanced polymers, high-tensile steel, and alloy steel. This makes the scooter lightweight and aerodynamically fluid.

TVS NTORQ 125 Race XP comes with race-inspired tri-tone color and you will get LED lighting on the rear lamps.

Like other modern-day scooters, the NTORQ 125 Race XP supports Bluetooth connectivity. The scooter has a SMARTXONNECT platform based on Artificial Intelligence that can connect it with TVS Connect Mobile App.

The apps are available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The new NTORQ 125 offers a Voice Assistance feature. The rider can give up to 15 different voice commands to the scooter.

Using the voice commands through a Bluetooth device the rider can launch navigation, change riding modes, and more. The navigation system has an option to save addresses of the routes that the rider frequently navigates.

The TVS NTORQ 125 Race XP costs INR 83,275 ex-showroom Delhi. That makes it Rs 7880 costlier than the standard disc variant.
