TVS Jupiter ZX drum SmartXonnect adds smartphone pairability to the scooter that was, so far, available only in the higher variants..
TVS’ high selling Jupiter is offered in tons of variants. Closer to the festive season in India, the existing ZX drum trim has been updated with new features and colors.
The Jupiter ZX drum now comes in a flashy Olive Gold color that is exclusive to this trim. In addition to this, it also gets the Starlight Blue shade that was already on offer on the ZX disc variant.
The bigger update, however, is the introduction of the SmartXonnect technology that brings in smartphone pairing capability to the drum brake variant as well. This means it now gets features like
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Voice Assist
- Call and SMS alerts
There is a standard USB mobile charger also that the ZX drum trim of the Jupiter gets.
The scooter is now priced at Rs 84,468 ex-showroom Delhi, which is a hike of roughly Rs 2200-2300 over the older price. Rest of the scooter remains the same which means it continues with the same 109.7cc motor that produces 5.8 KW of peak power and 8.8 Nm of max torque.

The Activa-rival is available in seven variants with prices ranging from Rs 73,240 to Rs 89,648 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Jupiter brand was expanded to the 125cc segment with the introduction of the Jupiter 125. You can check out its review below..
