TVS iQube ST price ranges from Rs 1.55 Lac to a hefty Rs 1.85 Lac but it comes with nifty features and is now available for deliveries..
So, after a real long delay, TVS has officially launched the range topping ST variant of its iQube electric scooter. The Chennai based maker showcased the ST long back and promised to offer it ‘soon’. However, due to the consistently changing policies on electric vehicles in India, the official introduction kept on getting delayed.
However, in an official note TVS has announced the top iQube ST for the public and it now gets another sub-variant as well. The iQube ST will be sold in two trims – one with a 3.4 kWh battery and the other with a 5.1 kWh battery. Here are the details…
iQube ST 3.4
The lesser trim of the iQube ST gets a 3.4 kWh battery which gives it a claimed real life range of 100 km according to the company. With a top speed of 78 kph, the scooter has fairly decent performance on tap. A 950 watt charger charges the medium capacity battery to 80 percent (from naught) in 2 hours 50 minutes.
It comes with features like 7 inch full TFT touchscreen display that has more than 118 connected features. It also has voice assist as well as Alexa in-built for convenience along with a digital document storage capacity, apart from phone alerts and turn by turn navigation. Other key features are tyre pressure monitoring system and a 32 liter underseat storage.
At a price tag of Rs 1,55,555 ex-showroom Bangalore that includes EMPS subsidy, the scooter sits higher up in the mass electric scooter range in the country. The ST 3.4 will be sold in four colors – Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, Titanium Gray Matte, Starlight Blue.
iQube ST 5.1
The range topping iQube ST comes with a 5.1 kWh battery which is the biggest capacity battery in the industry. TVS claims a real world range of 150 km along with a top speed of 82 kph – which is more than adequate for the kind of usage such a product will be used in.
The big battery gets charged to 80 percent (from zero) in 4 hours and 18 minutes (claimed) through a 950 watt charger that appears to be standard across the iQube range. It carries all the features mentioned above for the 3.4 version.
