TVS Motor Company has been selling its iQube in the Indian market for a while now. The electric scooter, that has picked pace in the last few quarters, has now received new variants in the line-up – one at the bottom end and the other at the higher end of the portfolio. In this story let me quickly talk about the iQube 2.2 – which becomes the entry trim in the e-scoot’s line-up.
The new iQube comes with a 2.2 kWh battery that has a claimed top speed of 75 km. Surprisingly, the lowest trim has the fastest charging time of 2 hours for the battery to reach 80 percent from zero. It gets a range of 75 km.

At a price of Rs 94,999, it is the most affordable iQube on sale today. However, this price is introductory ex-showroom Bangalore and is inclusive of EMPS subsidy and some Cashback – and is valid till 30th June 2024.
Despite being the most basic variant, the iQube 2.2 is fairly loaded and comes with features like a 950 watt charger and 30 liter underseat storage (only slightly lesser than other variants). It has a 5 inch color TFT display that shows stuff like distance-to-empty, turn by turn navigation among other smartphone alerts. You also get vehicle crash and tow alerts as well.

The iQube 2.2 is available in two colors – Walnut Brown and Pearl White. TVS has also promised that the complete iQube line-up is now up for sale across its showrooms in 434 cities in India.
TVS has already sold over 3 Lakh units of its iQube and with this entry variant, it intends to further increase the penetration of this scooter.
