After Bajaj, TVS has also informed us of all the measures it is taking to ensure its employees’ well-being as well as their families. The company has vaccinated its complete 45+ year old workforce and is now vaccinating employees over 18 years of age at its offices.
If any of the employee needs hospitalization, TVS Motor will bear all the expenses that are incurred during treatment. In case of an unfortunate death of any employee, the company has announced to provide compensation to the legal heir. It will be dependent on the number of years of employee service and will be upto three times the gross salary. Additionally, the standard relief from TVS’ Family Welfare Fund for the deceased employees also apply.
TVS will also extend medical insurance benefits for three years. And most importantly, the company will offer educational assistance to the children till the time they complete their graduation (applicable for upto two children).
TVS has made double masks mandatory across its offices. It is also providing them with masks and sanitizers apart from immunity boosters like multivitamins, Vitamin C, etc.
The company is taking care of the meals of all family members of employees who are affected by COVID. Those employees who live alone are also offered after shift meals apart from weekend packets.
The company has also launched an internal dashboard called ICE 2.0 for emergency needs. To ensure positive mental health, the company is also organizing various wellbeing programs, meditations, webinars, etc.
