Total Apache sales have crossed the 50 Lakh unit mark globally since its debut back in 2005 – an important milestone for the brand…
Apache is clearly one of the biggest motorcycle brand in India. It is as important as what Pulsar is to Bajaj, and to our country. The sports brand from the Hosur based manufacturer has reached an important milestone of 5 million global sales ie more than 50 lakh users have selected Apache as their preferred mode of transport the world over.
The motorcycle brand that was introduced back in 2005 has seen an impeccable run, specially in the last decade when it gained in both – popularity and size. TVS promotes its Apache series as racing machines for the masses and it spans across the 160cc displacement to the largest 310cc Apache RR 310 that is a remarkable motorcycle in all regards. Here are all the models that are sold currently under the Apache moniker..
- Apache 160 2V
- Apache 180 2V
- Apache 160 4V
- Apache 200 4V
- Apache RR 310
As you can see the RTR range is sold as naked motorcycles whereas the RR is the supersports variant in the lineup. In terms of features, Apache comes equipped with ride modes, slipper clutch, SmartXonnect and brilliant and sharp styling. The flagship Apache 310 is also offered as a BTO (Built to Order) motorcycle wherein you can customize lot of bits as per your liking.
To create an ecosystem around it, TVS conducts various experiential initiatives that offer a lot of engagement – like AOG (Apache Owners Group), ARE (Apache Racing Experience), APP (Apache Pro Performance), etc.
Apart from this, TVS has plans to increase Apache branded motorcycles and a likely candidate could be a new model developed on the 310 platform. While there has been no concrete evidence of what will be the final product, we could get a sneak (or the product as a whole) at the upcoming TVS MotoSoul – the company’s motorcycling extravaganza.
