Brit brand Triumph and Swiss Watchmaker Breitling have come together to create one-of-a-kind limited edition Speed Twin and Breitling Chronograph Watch.
The new partnership has spawned the limited edition of the latest Speed Twin motorcycle and it is called ‘Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition’ on the Triumph side and a new limited edition chronograph watch named ‘Top Time Triumph’ on the Breitling side.
The limited edition Speed Twin is the 2021 version of the roadster that has received a special ‘Breitling Edition’ paint scheme which features a two-tone light Blue tank with base colour inspired from the paint scheme of the original 1951 Triumph Thunderbird which was made famous by Marlon Brando in the ‘The Wild One’ movie.
The bike also features a Breitling logo in cursive on the top of its tank paired with meticulously hand-painted coachlines. The twin-pods of the bike’s instrumentations have a bespoke design bearing elements very similar to the new Breitling chronograph watch. Another inspiration taken from the watch can be seen on the perforated and ribbed black leather seat with contrasting Grey stitching which bears resemblance to Breitlings’ watch strap design.
The chassis of the Breitling-edition gets a small update with higher-specced fully-adjustable Ohlins twin-shocks in gloss Black coloured springs. The engine casing also bears a special Breitling ‘B’ logo made of billet aluminium engine details.

Coming to the special edition Breitling chronograph, the watch sports a race-themed calfskin leather strap and features Breitling and Triumph logos at 12 and 6 o’clock positions on the dial respectively. The chronographs are powered by the Breitling Caliber 23 which is a COSC-certified chronometer with battery reserve of up to 48-hours. The highlighting feature of the special edition watch, which will appeal to the bikers, is that at the back of the watch is the detailed design sketch of the iconic Triumph parallel twin etched into the metal.
Only 270 examples of the Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition are being built to maintain its exclusivity. The particular ‘270’ number has been chosen to celebrate the Speed Twin’s 270-degree crank configuration of the engine. Each bike will bear individually-numbered handlebar clamp and will come with a certificate of authenticity signed by both Triumph CEO and Breitling CEO.
Those lucky few who will be able to afford this one-of-a-kind Speed Twin will have to shell out a whopping £16,000 (~ Rs. 16,23,673/-) to own such a masterpiece. They have to wait for the special Breitling-Triumph Chronograph as no further information on its availability has been shared.
