Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied Testing in Europe – Clear Pics

The Scrambler T4 is likely to launch, after the Scrambler XC, in the last quarter of 2025 in the Indian market.

Triumph Motorcycles recently teased the Scrambler 400 XC, indicating that it will go on sale very soon in the Indian market. Now, we have spy images of another made-in-India 400cc bike from Triumph doing its test runs somewhere in Europe. A few unconfirmed reports claim that the spied motorcycle will be christened as Scrambler T4 when it launches in India. It is not the first time that the T4 has been captured on camera as it was spotted multiple times earlier this year on the Indian roads during its testing phase.

It has been learnt that Triumph Scrambler T4 will be the more affordable version of the Scrambler 400X, albeit with less features. This very same arrangement was witnessed when Triumph rolled out the Speed T4 which was the budget-friendly model of the Speed 400 as it missed out on several bells and whistles. The British two-wheeler brand could call it ‘Street Scrambler 400’ or ‘Scrambler 400 RS’ in global markets.

The spy pics show the motorcycle with testing equipment at the rear end while there is no camouflage at all. A unique side body panel is also clearly visible in the spy shots. It also flaunts a shorter windscreen along with the USD forks which are finished in a black theme. The rubber tank pads seen on the Scrambler 400X are missing.

The spy images further reveal that the split-seat setup of the Scrambler 400X has gone for a toss in favour of a simple single-seat unit. The rear profile has been restyled from the scratch with a plain tail lamp cluster and pillion grab rail. The handlebar also appears to be an ordinary one with brace pads and knuckle guards not on offer.

However, despite axing multiple premium features from the Scrambler T4, Triumph has retained the semi-digital instrument cluster from the Scrambler 400X. The spied bike appears to be riding on 17-inch alloy wheels with off-road focused tyres. The rest of the hardware including brakes and suspensions will be shared with the Scrambler 400X.

Mechanically, it will be powered by the same 398cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as the Speed T4. Just so you know, Triumph Speed T4 uses the down-tuned engine of the Speed 400 with lower state of power output and torque performance at 30.6 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm @ 5,000 rpm, respectively. The engine will be coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
