Triumph 400s bookings are underway at the official website. The company is ramping up production to meet demand..
Call it magic of Bajaj or the immense brand recall of British-origin Triumph Motorcycles, the recently unveiled 400s have received bumper response. Triumph informs that it has received 10,000 bookings of its motorcycles already. All of this within 10 days of unveil that took place on 27th June in UK!
Most of this would have come after the price announcement but whatever it is the cash registers are ticking, and ticking real fast. If all of this would translate to confirmed deliveries, Triumph is sitting on a potential revenue of almost 223 crore Indian Rupees! This in a matter of 10 days! This without any media reviews!
It must be noted that price of the Speed 400 is already known and it comes in at Rs 2.23 Lakh for the first 10,000 customers after which it will go to its original tag of Rs 2.33 Lakh – all prices ex-showroom Delhi. This magical figure of 10,000 includes both the variants. Yes, Triumph is also taking bookings of the Scrambler 400X and people are mopping that up as well, without knowing its prices!
“The Money is in Royal Enfield, We Have No Choice But to Rob That Bank”, Teases Rajiv Bajaj
Triumph will start delivering the Speed from this month-end onwards, however, the Scrambler is slated to come in October. Booking amount is Rs 2000 (fully refundable) and can be done at the official website and it must be noted that the offer price of Rs 2.23 Lac is still valid and is applicable on the first 10,000 deliveries and not bookings!
Bajaj has thanked the customers and promised to ramp up the production to meet the unprecedented demand. If you are a fence sitter and still undecided, you can wait for media reviews that will start pouring in from the 14th July.
