The 2-wheeler industry has understood that there is a lot of business in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment. That is the reason why almost every premium maker is venturing in it, through one or the other means.
Triumph took one step ahead and partnered with Bajaj for entry level motorcycles as well, first of which will be launched in 2022.
Before that, it has developed a new mid-capacity platform which was debuted by the very interesting Trident few days back. The roadster styling has been appreciated by the masses and Triumph has already revealed that there will be two more models that it will launch – likely to be based on the same platform.
In one of its event, it has shown total of three motorcycles in a product slide – the Trident along with an Adventure bike and a semi faired Adventure Sports model – all of which appear to carry the same platform. With this, Triumph will be able to have sizeable presence in the hotly contested mid-capacity 600cc segment with rivals like Kawasaki, Honda, Benelli and others.
