The two-wheeler sales flourished at a rapid pace in FY26 due to the roll out of GST 2.0 as every brand posted positive sales growth
The Indian two-wheeler industry registered positive YoY growth of 14.6 percent in FY26 with overall sales surpassing 2.65 crore units. The second half of the last fiscal was even better due to the roll out of GST 2.0 which made scooters and commuter motorcycles more affordable than before. The Diwali festive season and good monsoon ensured heavy demand in the rural and semi-rural centres. In this piece, we will talk in detail about the top two-wheeler brands in FY26 sales in the Indian market.
Hero MotoCorp retained the numero-uno position with sales of 64.69 lakh units in FY26. It posted a YoY growth of 9.7 percent as 58.99 lakh units were retailed in FY25 by the brand.
