The adventure bikes are catching a lot of attention from buyers in India and hence we are going to witness the launch of several new models in this segment by the end of FY27
Of late, the adventure motorcycles have been getting overwhelming response in the Indian market as majority of the buyers have drifted towards them from regular roadster and cruiser models. This is probably due to their superior performance on almost every terrain while providing utmost comfort during long journeys. This has propelled several mainstream brands to introduce new models in this segment, which we will see running on Indian roads in near future. Hence, in this piece, we will talk in detail about the top 5 adventure bikes launching in the next 10-12 months in India.
1. Norton Atlas
It will be the first locally made Norton bike in the Indian market after the acquisition of the legendary British brand by TVS in 2020. The Atlas will be launched next month in multiple international markets with India serving as the global manufacturing hub. The series production of the adventure bike has already commenced at Hosur facility of TVS Motor Company in Tamil Nadu, India. It will be retailed via the newly launched Paddock chain of premium dealerships in our country.

While the Atlas will be a proper off-roader, the company has also built a road-biased version in the form of the Atlas GT. Sharing a common platform, both the ADV bikes are powered by a 585cc parallel twin liquid-cooled engine which develops top power of 69 bhp at 9,300 rpm and peak torque of 57.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Designed and engineered at Norton’s Solihull headquarters, Norton Atlas range sits on a lightweight steel trellis chassis.
2. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
The Himalayan 750 will have its highly anticipated world premiere at the EICMA 2026 in Nov in Italy. The same was confirmed by Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan on the sidelines of EICMA 2025 when the pre-production prototype of the adventure bike was showcased. The upcoming twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle has been captured on camera multiple times during its test runs on the Indian roads ahead of the official launch.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will also be rolled out with adjustable suspension setup as USD front forks and monoshock rear absorbers. A few other notable styling elements expected onboard the adventure bike could be 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust and front windscreen. It will debut with a new 750cc parallel-twin engine which could develop power around 55-60 bhp.
3. Upcoming Bajaj Adventure 250
Bajaj Auto is foraying into the entry-level adventure bike segment with an all-new model, which is likely to launch by early 2027 in India. Recently, it was learnt that the India-spec version of the upcoming Bajaj adventure bike will borrow the 249cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar N250 as it was spotted testing alongside the Bajaj motorcycle.

To be locally produced in India for the domestic market and exports, it will directly rival Hero Xpulse 200 and Kawasaki KLX230. The spy images have confirmed the presence of front beak, long single-piece seat, rear top box, wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres, and high positioned handlebar. We can expect premium features in the form of all-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation among others.
4. Hero Xpulse 421
Hero Xpulse 421 was recently spotted testing for the first time in Ladakh. It will be using a steel trellis frame which will be suspended by USD front forks with long-travel and rear monoshock absorber. The adventure bike is expected to ride on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels which will be fitted with dual-purpose tyres.

Hero Xpulse 421 was first teased at the EICMA 2024 and then it disappeared into the thin air like a phantom for nearly two years. Now, with the recent sightings of the test mules in Ladakh, we believe that the project has took off once again and we might see the first glimpse of Hero’s biggest ADV bike till date at the EICMA 2026. It is all set to debut a brand spanking new liquid-cooled engine.
5. Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr
The adventure tourer was earlier supposed to go on sale in Dec 2025 at the India Bike Week (IBW). However, the market launch in India was postponed to Q3 FY27 with reasons best known to the brand. To be sold as Completely Built Unit (CBU), Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr could arrive at an estimated price of around Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Some of the bells and whistles expected onboard the ADV bike are switchable dual-channel ABS, USB charging port, switchable traction control, all-LED lighting and 7-inch coloured digital console with TFT screen. At the heart, Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr packs a 486cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates max power of 47 bhp and peak torque of 43 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.
