Suzuki motorcycles sales have been positive even during these times when everyone else is trying to at least match up their last year’s numbers!
Among all the makers during this slowdown, it is Suzuki which has held its neck up and is consistently doing fantastic numbers. No other maker is even able to sustain its last year’s numbers. Suzuki has not just done that but it has recorded its best ever domestic sales in the month of September 2019.
Including exports, it registered total sales of 73,658 units in September as compared to 72,134 units it managed in September 2018, inferring a growth of 2.11 percent. Out of this, Suzuki sold 63,282 units in the domestic market, marginally up from 63,140 units in the corresponding month last year. These are its highest ever sales in the domestic market!
Cumulatively, Suzuki has registered a 13 percent growth in this fiscal so far by registering total sales of 4,19,676 units as compared to 3,71,109 it did in the April to September period of year 2018.

It is its Access scooter which is driving these numbers. Access is also climbing up the list of top 10 monthly highest sellers. Suzuki has recently updated its Gixxer 150 range with comprehensively refreshed models and would be hoping to see it garner higher numbers as well. The newly unveiled Gixxer 250s should also get them some headway in the times to come.
