Suzuki Access variants lineup is set to increase with the addition of a new Drum alloy version. It will sit between the existing trims…
Suzuki is currently the only major two-wheeler manufacturer which is doing great during this massive downturn in the industry. And the biggest credit of this goes to its Access 125 scooter which is the major contributor to its monthly sales tally.
Suzuki Access Variants
Currently, Suzuki sells the Access in two editions – standard version and the special edition (SE). The standard version comes in two variants – top end (front) disc brake with alloys and entry level drum brakes without alloys. Now, one of our reliable source reveals that there will be a new variant that the maker is planning – alloy wheels with drum brakes.
This trim will sit right in between the existing two variants and provide an additional option for people who want the aesthetics of alloy wheels but do not want to spend extra on disc brakes. As for price, the existing Access costs Rs 60,878 and Rs 57,909 which means there is a difference of about Rs 3000 between the two variants. Hence, Suzuki can price the new alloy + drum version at about Rs 59,500 – all prices ex-showroom Delhi.
In addition to this, Suzuki will also launch the same combination of alloy wheels plus drum brakes on the Access SE. The current special edition has a separate colour palette and comes with disc brake and alloy wheels as standard. It retails for Rs 62,478 which means that the alloy plus drum variant can be tagged at about Rs 61,500 – all prices ex-showroom Delhi.
