Along with the bigger 200, Bajaj has also launched their Pulsar AS150, which is based on the upcoming next-gen Pulsar 150NS. With these two bikes, Bajaj has also introduced the AS or the Adventure Sport moniker which will spawn newer bikes in the times to come.
The Pulsar AS150 comes with an Air Cooled, 4 valve, DTSi SOHC 149.5cc twin spark engine which churns out a fantastic 17PS of segment-best peak power output at 9500 rpm and 13Nm of maximum torque at 7500 rpm. The AS150 comes with a half-fairing, 55W low beam projector and 55W high beam MFR.
Apart from this, it gets monoshock absorbers, perimeter frame, 240 disc brakes upfront and 130mm drum brakes at the rear. The tyres are 80/100 front and 110/80 rear, both 17 inchers. It has a ground clearance of 170mm, wheelbase of 1363mm and a kerb weight of 143kg.
Pulsar AS150 Colors
Like its elder brethren, AS150 also comes in the following three solid colors..
Pulsar AS150 Price
Bajaj has priced the AS150 at Rs 79,000 ex-showroom New Delhi, which is about Rs 5000 costlier than Pulsar 180 and about Rs 7600 cheaper than Pulsar 220. However, these are introductory prices.
The display bikes at the launch venue came shod with MRF tyres and we hope Bajaj completely ditches the Eurogrips from the Pulsar lineup!
