2022 Himalayan launch can be expected soon. It is likely to get a fresh new color palette. Two of them have been snapped.
So, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is one of India’s most loved entry level Adventure motorcycle. Even outside India, there are many admirers of this ADV – in the European countries and in Australia.
Recently, the Himalayan ADV was being offered with a new Black Series Adventure Kit in Australia where all the accessories that the Himalayan can fit, were offered as a single option with the purchase of a new bike.
While we are waiting for that kit to make its way to India, Royal Enfield is about to add 2 new colours for their Himalayan 411 ADV.
2022 Himalayan Launch – 2 new colours adding soon
Thanks to Kochi Machan (@kochimachan) on Instagram, we have in our hands the images of two new colours for the Himalayan 411 ADV which the company will be adding to the line-up really soon.
The 2 new colours will be called – Glacial Blue & Dune Brown.
Clearly, these two colour options are inspired and are a reflection of many terrains the Himalayan is capable of tackling without much effort.
From the images, we can see that the new Dune Brown paint scheme is very reminiscent of the ‘Desert Storm’ colour that the Royal Enfield Classic 500 once used to come in. However, the Dune Brown paint scheme features a grey-ish camouflage pattern which is very similar to the current Pine Green option on the ADV. The new pattern is covering the front beak, fuel tank and side body panels.
On the other hand, the Glacial Blue paint scheme is a single-tone paint scheme, void of any patterns. This colour, once again, seems to be inspired by the ‘Lagoon Blue’ shade that was once offered on the old Classic 350 and Classic 500. The front beak, fuel tank and side body panels are donning this Blue colour scheme.
Currently, the Himalayan 411 ADV is offered in 6 total colours – Rock Red, Lake Blue, Granite Black, Gravel Grey, Pine Green & Mirage Silver. The 2 new colours are yet to join the official website alongside the offered 6 colours.
The pricing on the new colours is yet to be announced – but we expect that RE could price the Glacial Blue colour at Rs. 2.14 Lakh (ex-showroom), similar to Gravel Grey colour option. While the patterned Dune Brown colour could be priced at Rs. 2.22 Lakh (ex-showroom), similar to the Pine Green colour scheme. A few shades may be discontinued in the process.
