Royal Enfield Introduces ‘Black Series Adventure Kit’ In Australia; Will India Get It??

Royal Enfield have introduced ‘Black Series Adventure Kit’ in the Australian market for their Himalayan 411 ADV, offering 6 accessory parts all painted in Black colour. 

The new Black series Adventure kit is offered at an introductory price of AUS$ 1,290 which equates to Rs. 71,861/-, but actually carries a MRP of AUS$ 2,020 (~ Rs. 1,12,537/-). 

This introductory offer has been offered in the Australian market only till 30th of June, 2022 because this day marks the end of Fiscal Year in Australia. So to move as many Himalayan ADVs as they can, Royal Enfield is offering this Adventure kit at a steeply discounted price. 

The new Black series Adventure Kit includes following 6 accessories & add-ons – 

  1. Set of 26 L Aluminium Panniers 
  2. Pannier Mounting Kit 
  3. Large Engine Guard 
  4. Adventure Hand-Guard Kit
  5. Master Cylinder Guard 
  6. Oil Cooler Guard 

As mentioned earlier and the name suggests, all the 6 items offered in the new kit are coloured Black. This new kit has been introduced alongside the launch of the 2022 version of Royal Enfield Himalayan in the Australian market. The Himalayan has been priced at  AUS$ 8,390 (~ Rs. 4,67,417/-) for the Euro-5 compliant model. 

It is offered in 6 colour schemes in Australia – 

  1. Rock Red
  2. Granite Black 
  3. Pine Green
  4. Lake Blue 
  5. Mirage Silver
  6. Gravel Grey

Rest of the Himalayan ADV is the same as the model we get in our country. It is powered by a 411 cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine putting out 24.3 HP at 6,500 RPM and 32 Nm of torque at 4,500 RPM connected to a 5-speed transmission system. It weighs 191 kg with Ground clearance of 220 mm and fuel capacity of 15 L.

Presently, all the accessories for Himalayan are sold separately and can be option during the booking process or after the delivery of the ADV. We can expect something very similar to be introduced during our upcoming festive season to promote various RE models.
