The spy-images suggest a detachable pillion seat on the test unit as it rides on alloy wheels against the wire-spoke wheels of the original Flying Flea.
Royal Enfield unveiled the ‘Flying Flea’ sub-brand at the EICMA 2024 for its upcoming all-electric motorcycle models in India as well as various other foreign countries. It had also showcased its first-ever electric bike namely C6 under the Flying Flea brand at the Milan Motor Show last year in November. Now, the Flying Flea C6 has been spotted testing for the first time on Indian roads by our friends at GaadiWaadi. It has been learnt that Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle, the C6, will go on sale in early 2026.
The term ‘Flying Flea’ goes back to the era of 1940s during the second world war. The iconic nameplate has been brought back to life once again by Royal Enfield as the company felt it would perfectly suit its electric motorcycle line-up due to its lightweight and agile character. The Flying Flea C6 even retains a couple of features of the vintage motorcycle in the form of a forged aluminum Girder front fork and articulating mudguard.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is presented in a retro look with a round LED headlamp, circular rear view mirrors and tail-lamp cluster. The all-electric motorcycle will also get a round touchscreen fully-colored digital instrument console with a myriad of information such as speedometer, battery status, range, real-time vehicle diagnostics and navigation. It will also boast of Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, riding modes and OTA updates.
The spy-images suggest a detachable pillion seat on the test unit as it rides on alloy wheels against the wire-spoke wheels of the original Flying Flea. It is likely to use 19-inch front and rear wheels with section 90/90 tyres. We can also notice a mono-shock suspension setup at the rear. The stopping power is expected to come from disc brakes at both the ends along with a dual-channel ABS.

A few reports hint at the inclusion of cornering ABS with a switchable function. However, we cannot confirm this feature as of now. The Flying Flea C6 also has a distinctive backlit power button on the fuel tank while the side panels have been designed to accentuate the aerodynamics of the motorcycle. Royal Enfield has specifically developed an operating system for the Flying Flea which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon QWM2290 processor.
The C6 will be powered by a mid-mounted electric motor with belt final drive setup. While the battery and other technical specs have been kept under wraps by the brand, we believe the Flying Flea C6 to return a performance equivalent to a 250-300cc petrol motorcycle. Though it is almost confirmed that the battery pack will be a fixed unit which will support fast charging as well. The exact range is not in public domain yet, but we expect somewhere around 200-220 km.
