Royal Enfield 750cc cafe-racer motorcycle would be based on the Continental GT 650 as it reportedly debuts at the EICMA 2025 in Italy
Royal Enfield is readying a 750cc motorcycle, apparently a cafe-racer model, for the Indian market. To be based on the Continental GT 650, it has been spotted testing on the countryside roads in the past. We have learnt that the first Royal Enfield 750cc bike could break cover at the EICMA 2025 in Italy while launching in the first half of 2026 in India. Recently, Pratyush Raut rendered the upcoming Royal Enfield 750 cafe-racer on the basis of the spy images available on the web. The digital render by the artist gives us a glimpse of the new bike and its various design elements.
Royal Enfield is developing a new platform for the 750cc motorcycles, which reportedly is created from the existing chassis of 650cc bikes. The Chennai-based brand presently has five motorcycles in the 650cc segment namely Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and Bear 650. In addition, three more offerings – Classic 650, Bullet 650, and Himalayan 650 – are under development and will be launched in 2025 in the domestic market.
Coming to the Royal Enfield 750 cafe-racer rendering, it flaunts a semi-fairing to stay true to its cafe-racer character. However, the silhouette is quite identical to the Continental GT 650. The 750cc cafe-racer model is given a new fuel tank and side body panels which are quite similar in appearance to the recently launched Bear 650. The single-piece seat looks slightly raised while being long enough to accommodate the pillion.
The front fairing houses the round LED headlamp and turn indicators as it extends till the fuel tank. The rendering images show the 750cc cafe-racer with alloy wheels which further enhance its sportiness. The company could offer tubeless tyres with these wheels. The rear profile has most of the components borrowed from the Continental GT 650, including the tail-lamp cluster and turn indicators.
The spy pics had earlier revealed RSU telescopic forks at front and twin shocks at rear. Pratyush Raut has also used the same suspension setup in his rendering of the Continental GT 750. We can also expect twin-exhaust pipes in an upswept position and dual disc brakes in the new motorcycle.
Mechanically, Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 could use a new engine which could be the big-bore version of its 648cc parallel-twin mill. The power output might go up to 55 bhp and the highest torque could be around 60 Nm. The engine is believed to get a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
