Triumph Speed Twin 900 Launched at 8.35 Lac; Street Twin Name Dead

So, Triumph have recently made a significant name change to their Street Twin range. The new name by which their famous old-school roadster will be known from now on is ‘Speed Twin 900’. 

And now Triumph India have brought the Speed Twin 900 to India and have launched it at Rs. 8,35,000/- (ex-showroom). 

New Triumph Speed Twin 900 Introduced In India

The new Speed Twin 900 has been bought in India in 3 new colours… 

The Triumph Jet Black colour scheme is being offered at Rs. 8,35,000/- (ex-showroom) while the Matte Ironstone & new Matte Silver Ice is priced at Rs. 8,48,000/- (ex-showroom).

The new Speed Twin 900 is built around a Tubular  Steel Twin Cradle frame connected with traditional Telescopic forks covered by fork boots up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The Braking is handled by single-disc hardware both at the front and the rear aided by dual-channel ABS as standard. 

Powering the neo-retro-styled Speed Twin 900 is a 900 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing 64.1 HP at 7,500 RPM and 80 Nm of torque at 3,800 RPM connected to a 5-speed gearbox.
