Rebadged Bajaj Speed 400 launch – is it on the cards? Is the duo Bajaj-Triumph considering it? We answer…
It is a common practice that manufacturers create multiple motorcycles on one single platform to appeal to a wider audience – which clearly have better chances of higher sales. This gives them economies of scale and hence they can price motorcycles better, or get better profits – or both!
In this case, we have not one but two makers – Bajaj and Triumph that have come in – and created a new 400 platform that has spawned two motorcycles Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X that are badged under the Triumph moniker.
So, like how Hero intends to make a near 440cc motorcycle on the same platform on which the Harley X440 is made (here are more details), will Bajaj also introduce its own version of either the Speed 400 or the Scrambler 400X?
We have answered this in this following quick 56 second video, just check it out…
