Suzuki Gixxer

Let us talk about the Suzuki Gixxer first. The beautiful street racer from Suzuki’s stable is company’s attempt to get a significant share of the 150cc territory. Their previous attempt in this segment, the GS 150R, though a fantastic motorcycle, failed to set sales charts buzzing.

The Gixxer though is aimed at the premium segment. The focus has been to ensure that the bike does not lose out on fuel efficiency while at the same time be a good performer.

The new 155cc mill can be expected to have the usual refinement seen in Suzuki bikes. The bike has been priced at Rs 79,957, on-road, Delhi, putting it in direct competition to the newly launched FZ version 2.0. From this carburetted mill, Gixxer produces 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of toque, all at a low kerb weight of 135kgs. Launch happens in Delhi.

RC390 and RC200

KTM, the Austrian mavericks will be launching two of the most awaited motorcycles in India – RC200 and RC390. Upon first thoughts, you may think that they are just faired versions of the naked Duke 200 and Duke 390 respectively, but that not correct!

These two motorcycles have been set-up with a clear track centric focus. While the RC 200 will take care of the folks who are running on a tight budget, the RC390 will be the fiercer option.
