The trend started with the Duke 390 and KTM has carried it over to the faired RC390, which also gets a stonker of a price tag. We already learnt that the bike started with bumper bookings and is currently running with a waiting period of about 2-3 months.
And for the early risers, we have got some good news. KTM has started with the deliveries of the big RC390 from yesterday. On contacting a KTM dealership at Connaught Place in New Delhi, the store manager informed us that he handed over the first lot of 9 (or 10) motorcycles to their respective customers.
These people had booked their dream motorcycle on the September 10th, the very day KTM officially started taking bookings.
On being asked about the RC200, he informed us that deliveries will take place only after he gets the first units, which will take at least 10 to 15 days more. This should not sound strange because it has been a trend nationwide that RC390 has received a lot more bookings than the RC200 and we believe, Bajaj must have already expected this…
Deliveries in other cities will also begin soon (if they have not started yet). Do share how many of you have booked either of these motorcycles and have got them delivered.
