R3 Rival Full-Faired Benelli Tornado 302 Unveiled; Looks the Part [EICMA 2015] – Pics Updated

It was already on the speculation list a few weeks back and it is a reality and right in front of your screens – the Benelli Tornado 302 and it looks the part! Essentially the fully faired version of TNT 302, the Tornedo 302 will fight against the R3 and Ninja 300 and will try to attract buyers with its Italian flavor… okay partly Chinese as well. 😛

The 300 cc in-line twin cylinder liquid cooled engine gets dual overhead cam (DOHC) and produces 35.3 PS of maximum power at 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm both of which are lower than R3/Ninja. The Tornado gets 17 inch alloy wheels with 110/70 section tyre at the front and 150/60 at the rear by Metzeler! Twin 260 mm petal discs perform braking duties upfront and is supported by a 240 mm single disc at the rear. ABS is expected to be present.

Tornado 302 gets a 14 liter fuel tank and familiar steel trellis frame and an even better exhaust note than its naked sibling is definitely expected.

Though nothing has been confirmed yet, but we are sure this is coming to India and expect the first showcase at the Auto Expo in February next year. DSK Benelli, this and Trek 502 please…
