Latest Pulsar NS400 teaser does not reveal much apart from, well, teasing us! We list whatever we can decipher from the quick video…
So, 3rd of May is the date – and we have already received the formal invitation for the launch of what could be most interesting motorcycle of this year – the Pulsar NS400. And just ahead of the reveal, Bajaj has teased its biggest Pulsar on its social media handles.
Since there hasn’t been a single spyshot of the NS400 yet, even small leaks are badly awaited. Unfortunately, the teaser does not end up revealing anything significant apart from the small portion of the rear. The motorcycle sports what appears to be a fat tyre – most probably 140-150mm – along with a single-side mounted hugger.
Alloy Wheel design looks similar to the Pulsar NS200 and we can also see the rear disc brake – which could be a 220/230mm unit. The limited view that we have does not show the exhaust canister – which points at the possibility of the NS400 sporting an underbelly – very similar to the NS200.
In one of the scene a very small portion of the front tyre also gets visible and we see a fat-ish tyre, round disc brake (possibly sourced from the Dominar 400) and what should be upside-down front forks. Rest of the motorcycle remains elusive as of now. This ad also appears to have been shot in an international location – so as to keep the motorcycle a secret for as long as possible.

Aside that what we know is that the NS400 will come equipped with the Dominar’s 373cc, single cylinder, DOHC engine however, its power and torque figures are not known yet. It will also be interesting to see how different will this Streetfighter ride – against the relatively longer sports cruiser Dom!
Pricing will be one of the big USPs of the NS400 and we will do a quick analysis once we have proper data. Stay tuned as this is going to be electrifying – and it also takes us back to the Dominar story back in December 2016 – when Rajiv Bajaj shocked everyone with that 1.36 Lac price tag!
