The Fastest Indian (Pulsar 220) and the Indian Cruiser (Avenger 220) will now be made available in all Bajaj showrooms across the country. This means that if you are interested in booking either of these bikes (or both of these as well!) you don’t have to hunt for the nearest Probiking showroom to get your hands on these machines.
And the best part of this new announcement is that besides selling these machines, servicing of these machines is also made possible. This move from Bajaj is co0nsiudered to be a boon for all the owners of the above mentioned 2 bikes. I know many friends of mine who take their bikes to 50 or 60 kms to get their Pulsar 220s serviced. People who are in rural areas and in smaller towns would be hugely benefitted by this. I was stunned to see P220s in many villages across the states of Tamilnadu and Karnataka. So this is indeed a great move from the manufacturer.
Though there is a common mindset among the owners of these 2 bikes that Pro-biking service centres are far better in many aspects than the ordinary service centres, the fact here is that these the Avenger and the Pulsar 220 involves not much complications in its servicing.
Understanding the fact that Pulsar has always been the lifeline of Bajaj Auto in the aspect of boosting its sales figures, this move, I would say is a right one at the right time.
Probably, this strategic move from Bajaj would also lead to a marginal increase in the sales of the manufacturer. The fastest Indian has now got the freedom to go to any Bajaj service centre.
What have the owners of these bikes gotta say about Bajaj’s new step? Are you comfortable wigth servicing your bikes from a non probiking service centre? Leave your voice here
