Update – Pulsar 125 Split Seat May NOT Be Launched Everywhere
It was just a month ago when Bajaj announced its most affordable Pulsar under a new displacement – 125cc – its smallest yet! We will shortly be riding the motorcycle in Pune to understand how good a preposition it is. However, a new development reveals that Bajaj is not simply toying with this idea and instead, intends to build a portfolio around it, like the other capacity Pulsars. It has been revealed that Bajaj is all set to launch its Pulsar 125 ‘split seat’ model which will be a more premium offering in the segment.
Youtube channel Dino’s Vault has managed to do a test ride of the new Pulsar 125, which is yet to be launched however, this reveals that its dispatches to dealers have commenced across India.
Apart from split seats, this new Pulsar 125 comes with sporty body graphics on the extended tank and engine cowl, carbon fibre cubes design for side panels and speedometer, split rear grab bar and textured seats. The Bajaj Pulsar split seat will come in two colour options – Black with Red accents and Black with Blue accents.
Talking about the mechanics, this split seat model will borrow all the specs from its sibling Pulsar 125 Neon. It will be powered by 124.6cc engine which will produce 12PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm of max torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspensions will be handled by thinner telescopic fork at the front when compared with 150 Neon and twin gas charged shock absorbers. It will have 11.5 litre fuel tank with 80/100 front tyre and 100/90 rear tyre.
