Harley Davidson has announced a price hike of upto 1.5 percent on their select motorcycle range. This increase, in monetary terms, ranges from Rs 7000 to Rs 73,000 on various models of Harley. The price hike will become effective from 1st April 2017.
Company’s most affordable model, Street 750 gets dearer by Rs 7,000 and there has been no change to the latest Street Rod (Rs 5.86 Lakhs). The price hike is applicable on the Sportster and Touring range apart from the Street 750.

Harley has shared no update on the remaining range which means prices of Street Bob (Rs 10.67 Lakhs), Fat Bob (Rs 13.09 Lakhs), Fat Boy (16.35 Lakhs) and Heritage Softail Classic (17.79 Lakhs) have remain unchanged.
Though they have not mentioned explicitly, but it appears that this increment is due to their motorcycles becoming BS4 compliant. It must be known that from 1st April only BS4 motorcycles can be sold in India.
