In 2015, Mahindra bought a controlling 51 percent stake in Peugeot Motorcycles which was expanded to 100 percent last year. At the announcement, Mahindra Two Wheelers, the subsidiary which owns Peugeot’s 2-wheeler division, also disclosed that it plans to launch as many as seven new products between 2019 and 2021.

While the rest of the products are not known but in 2018, Peugeot showcased the P2X concept which was based on Mahindra Mojo’s platform. The concept motorcycle was unveiled in two forms – cafe racer and roadster. And in both the formats it looked very interesting and premium.

In a latest update, Mario Minella, who is the President of Gam Distribution – the company which handles Peugeot’s Italian import and distribution business, has, sort of, revealed that the Eicma concept (which is the P2X) will be taken to production soon.
