Ola Series electric scooters will debut on 15th August 2021. The confirmation comes from the CEO Bhavish Aggarwal himself. However, he has a bigger claim. He says that Ola will kicstart deliveries across India in one single day! And we are talking about 1000+ cities and towns across the nation!
How would the company achieve that and what is the exact plan has not been revealed. But it will be monumental to scale up to this level in such a short span of time. It would be very interesting to see what strategy the company follows…
With a new teaser snippet on YouTube, Ola has revealed that its new electric scooter can move in the reverse direction ‘quite quickly’. This feature will be helpful in parking the scooter.

Ola Series S Launch Date Revealed; Coming on 15 Aug
The booking for the hyped electric scooter from Ola Electric was open at INR 499 only. Within a day the EV registered over one lakh bookings. However, what are the numbers after that have not been shared.
A few weeks earlier Ola electric registered three names Series S, S1, and S1 Pro. As we may guess, the Series S is the collective scooter lineup, and the S1 and Pro moniker are for premium variants of the scooter.

The upcoming Ola Electric scooter will be available in nine color schemes Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Pink, Black, Blue, Grey, and White. Both matte and gloss finish choices are available as well.

The Ola electric scooter will likely borrow a lot of features from its parent model the Etergo AppScooter. So, expect a good range Li-ion battery, Bluetooth connectivity support, LCD instrument panel, etc.
The scooter will offer larger boot space under the seat, better range, and mileage for efficient commuting. The riders may also get keyless access via Ola’s dedicated smartphone app.
