Ola Electric Retains Pole Position in Feb 2025 Sales – Report

Ola Electric sold 25,000 units last month in the domestic market while owning a market share of over 28 percent in the electric two-wheeler segment in India

Ola Electric has retained the topmost position in the Feb 2025 sales in the electric two-wheeler segment in the Indian market. The Bengaluru-based EV brand sold around 25,000 units this month while capturing a market share of more than 28 percent. The company attributed this sales growth to the newly introduced S1 portfolio and its dealership network of 4000 stores across India. Ola Electric had lost the numero-uno spot in Dec 2024 to Bajaj Auto while the second position was grabbed by TVS Motor Company, thereby pushing it to a distant third spot.

Ola Electric also informed that it has renegotiated its contracts with the vehicle registration agencies. This move had temporarily halted the registrations on the VAHAN portal this month. The renegotiation exercise is carried out to lower down costs and further streamline the registration process.
