So, all you bikers waiting patiently for your Daytonas and Speed Triples, here is the date that Triumph will mark its official Indian foray on.
In a ‘Block Your Date’ mailer, Triumph has asked us to keep our calendars free on 28th November! In an obvious conclusion, it has to be Triumph’s Indian entry date which has been getting delayed for some known and unknown reasons. The mailer features Tiger XC.
If we flip back, Triumph has showcased their complete Indian lineup at the Auto Expo 2012 and has even shared modelwise prices of its motorcycles as well. Back then, the prices of their motorcycles were to start at Rs 5.5 Lakhs for the Bonneville and the range went on till Rs 22 Lakhs for the massive Rocket III Roadster. Here are the respective prices of all the models that Triumph shared.
Triumph Motorcycle Price India (Auto Expo 2012)
- Bonneville: Rs 5.5 Lakh
- Street Triple: Rs 5.75 Lakh
- Daytona 675: Rs 7 Lakh
- Speed Triple: Rs 8 Lakh
- Tiger 800XC: Rs 11.4 Lakh
- Storm: Rs 17 Lakh
- Rocket III Roadster: Rs 22 Lakh
However, the complete lineup of what would Triumph bring to India now is not known. Plus, whatever models Triumph will bring among these there is a definite increase in prices expected.
So, all your savings did not go in vain (or to the competitors), the real British motorcyclers are coming and very soon!
