India’s largest scooter manufacturer – Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has reported its sales numbers for November 2020. The company informed that it witnessed double-digit growth during the month in the domestic market for the fourth month consecutively.
During the last month, the company sold 412,641 units in the domestic market, as compared to 373,283 units during the corresponding period in 2019. It means a YoY increment of 11% for the company, domestically.
Talking about exports, Honda shipped around 20,565 units to the foreign markets during the month.

Combining the domestic and export numbers, Honda witnessed total sales of 433,206 units during the month. If we compare the numbers that the company did during November 2019, we can see a growth of about 9%. For reference, Honda had sold 396,399 units last year.

During November 2020, the company had several highlights as it expanded its Big Wing premium big bike network by launching six new dealerships across India. Apart from that, the company also completed 20 years of its popular scooter – Activa, and launched its special edition as well.
