Splendor iSmart has also received two new colors and self-start is now on offer on Splendor+
Hero MotoCorp has launched the new updated 2016 Splendor Pro at Rs 46,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi), bringing a change in the design philosophy after ages! Apart from this they have also added new colours and features to the remaining Splendor range which has been the bread winner for the company since eternity.
With 25 million Splendors sold since the brand was introduced in 1994, the Splendor Pro gets the most of the changes. The engine remains the same 97.2 cc APDV motor producing a maximum power output of 8.36 PS at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 8.05 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The bike is mated with a four speed gearbox and gets adjustable rear suspension with 18 inch wheels.
The new Splendor Pro gets some curves finally. It comes with a new windshield visor which has design cues from the one seen on the Glamour. The swept back bikini fairing now comes with clear lens indicators. The fuel tank also comes with a few cuts and creases and in the process, may have gotten a better knee recess too. A new tri set cockpit and metre console has also been included along with a new sticker job.
The bike also gains some chrome garnish on the utility box and muffler cover. The tail lamps have also been reshaped to gel with the new looks and the grab rail has been converted to an alloy one for better grip.

The new Splendor Pro will be available in eight colour options:
