New Ninja 400 – Quick Pictorial View & 31 Pics Gallery

2018 Ninja 400 pics gallery, video and details…

The international Ninja 300 replacement has been launched by Kawasaki in India however, it will be sold alongside the older model in our market, for now. It looks beautiful but Kawasaki has probably killed it with greedy pricing (here is the launch report).

We are sharing a 31 pic gallery along with a video of the motorcycle which should have been launched at sensible prices…

Ninja 400 Quick Pictorial View

Three colours are on offer internationally but India only gets the green KRT edition.

The promotional and Kawasaki trademark – Lime Green with Black – it is the only colour launched in India
A new-ish Orange Grey with black combination. Looks interesting – May come later…
And the ubiquitous Metallic Black – looks drab (not on offer in India)
The aggressive fairing has design cues from the flagship H2
That is the new Trellis Frame in action.
The new 2018 Ninja 400 gets a new 399 cc parallel twin cylinder engine capable of producing 49 PS of peak power and 38 Nm of max torque – a very significant bump from Ninja 300!
The analogue-digital instrument cluster is borrowed from Ninja 650…
Remember this is a different motorcycle than the Ninja 400 Kawasaki sells in Japan which is a downsized version of Ninja 650
The new Ninja gets chunky 41 mm front forks (Ninja 300 had 37 mm units)
Braking duties are performed by a 310 mm disc brake upfront, a small rotor at the rear and Nissin ABS – standard in India

The new Ninja 400 is slightly lighter than Ninja 300
Internationally, it will replace the Ninja 300 but for now it will be sold alongside the 300 in India.

Watch the ad and specifically notice the exhaust note. It definitely is a 400 cc parallel twin motor’s call unlike Bajaj’s latest Ad where Dominar is made to falsefully sound like an inline four…  😀
