Oh Wait There is a Pulsar 150 Adventure As Well…Spotted Testing

Bajaj seems to be getting ready to take the market by storm. They have some real aggressive line-up waiting to be unleashed. And if the tons of upcoming Pulsars were not enough, new spyshots suggest there is a smaller-than-200 Adventure Sports as well. Going by what we see, this could be the 150AS or 180AS or some other capacity Pulsar. But at this moment, in the lesser than 200cc category Pulsar series, we only know about the 150NS that is coming soon and hence, will assume it to be a motorcycle based on the same.

Pulsar 150AS

At first glance, the motorcycle in these spy shots from Motoroids appear to be the Pulsar 200AS. However, upon careful observation, we notice there is more to it. It doesn’t come with a rear disc brake and instead gets a drum unit like the 150NS. And the rear tyre also appears to be thinner.

The P150AS, if it is one, is expected to house the same 149.5 cc engine from the NS variant churning out 17 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 13 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm which does seem tempting at least on paper.

And yes, in the spy pics the front disc plate also seems to be smaller than the one on the 200NS/AS. The report further claims that the head lamp console had a projector unit like the one seen on the bigger AS.

Upcoming 17PS Pulsar 150NS

It gets abundantly clear now that Bajaj is working on families of motorcycles based on their body style and have moved over their brands. This smaller Adventure motorcycle, which looks more of a tourer, is an interesting development and will be a nice addition to the 150-180cc segment.

Bajaj what’s next? A P150SS?
