New 390 Adventure X price tag undercuts even the 390 Duke making it the most affordable 390 model in KTM’s Indian line-up…
KTM has launched an entry level variant of its highly potent 390 Adventure in India. The mid-capacity Adventure now presents a terrific value for anyone who is not very interested in high level of electronics.
Despite the big price cut the new 390 Adventure X is fairly well kitted and should suit people who do not like a lot of gadgetry. It continues with the same split trellis frame, LED headlamps and 43 mm WP Apex upside down front forks and WP rear monoshock.
In terms of other features, there is Ride by Wire and Slipper Clutch that you still get. The motorcycle comes with 200 mm of high ground clearance along with 320mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc set-up. Braking is further aided by Dual Channel ABS that also has an off-road mode. Then there is the 12 V socket that is standard on the motorcycle.
The 373cc, single cylinder, powerpacked motor continues to do duty and it still churns 43.5 PS of peak power and 37 Nm of class leading torque. We believe there has been no detuning done to this motor and it should be as peppy as the higher variant on offer. What is not a part of the package is the TFT display of the 390 Adventure and instead the X gets an LCD dash display.
390 Adventure X Price
2023 390 Adventure X | Rs 2,80,652 |
That is a lovely tag for a motorcycle that packs in so much. It is whopping Rs 58,000 cheaper than the 390 Adventure which is terrific value and is only about Rs 35,000 higher than its sibling 250 Adventure. However, the press release clearly states that this is an introductory price tag for now. KTM is offering the X in two colors – Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano.
