Indians have been the latest international big brand to have entered India. Ever since then we have a renewed interest in this iconic motorcycle manufacturer. They have also launched their first outlet in Gurgaon and will diversify soon.
After being nascent for a long time, the Indian Motorcycles brand was reignited by Polaris Industries last year during the Sturgis Rally. The Thunderstroke 111 V-twin engine was also revealed, which powered its entire new range.
This time also, the Indians are going to make public their 2015 line-up at the 2014 Sturgis Rally according to Motorcycle.com. They right now have three models on sale, the Chief, Chief Vintage and the Chieftain. Though the claim is ‘all-new’ but as has been the trend, we can expect minor or major niptucks to the existing lineup and there may be one or more surprises in store for everybody.
The 2015 Indian line-up will be revealed on August 3, 2014 at Lazelle Street in downtown Sturgis and will be on display till August 9, 2014. As a part of a promotional strategy, visitors can also win a new 2015 model via a contest. Prospective customers can also enjoy demonstration rides throughout the week at the Indian Motorcycle Demo Experience on I-90 at Exit 30.
The manufacturer also intends to host a party on Sunday, August 3, 2014, where the surviving band members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, a 70s American rock band will be present. Daredevil shows like the Wall of Death are also a part of the crowd-drawing activity. The recently opened dealership at Sturgis would also hold a special event on the same day.
