CEO Reveals New Details About MV Agusta’s 350-500cc Motorcycles

He has revealed the exact capacity of the motorcycle. MV Agusta 350cc motorcycle is expected to be unveiled next year at EICMA.

MV Agusta is generally known for its swashbuckling, exotic motorcycles which also command a lot of premium. It was, then, a kind of a surprise, that it recently announced a partnership with Loncin Motor Company of China to manufacture smaller, mid capacity motorcycles between 350cc to 500cc. You can read more details about it here.

In a latest update, Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta has revealed new details about the company’s plans. Here is a quick list..

  • The exact engine capacity for the first products will be 350cc.
  • It will be a twin cylinder motor. It has not been shared if it will be a V-twin or a parallel twin.
  • Many motorcycles will be developed on this platform.
  • These 350cc MV Agustas will be sold at around €6000 to €7000 in the European market. This equates to roughly 4.75 Lakh to 5.55 Lakh in INR after conversion.

Further, Timur has revealed that focus for the upcoming motorcycles will be more on everyday use which hints that the upcoming MVs will be ‘practical’ and we may not see supersport kind of styling.

Launch of the first motorcycles is expected in the coming two years but it may be unveiled at next year’s EICMA according to the report.
