In a strategic alliance, DSK has signed Motul as the official lubricant partner for Hyosung branded bikes it sells in India. DSK shares that they performed a real stringent selection process before zeroing in on Motul which satisfied all their parameters.
The deal is for 3 years which was signed by DSK Motowheels’ chairman Shirish Kulkarni and present were Mr Sivapada Ray, COO DSK and Jiten Goswami, Chairman, Mr Balwally Ashwin, Business Development and Mr Jayesh Butt, General Manager Sales & Marketing from Motul.
The press release which we have received doesn’t share many details or the pointers which will be achieved. Shirish Kulkarni did say that Motul will be used in all Hyosung high capacity motorcycles in India and showed hope that the partnership will be a long lasting one. On the other hand, Jiten Goswami promised better engine protection and great riding experience on Hyosung bikes with the use of Motul lubricants.
DSK currently sells Hyosung ST7, GV650, GT650R, GT250R in India and has plans to launch GV250 (pictured above) in India very soon. On the other hand Motul has been an international lubricant maker of repute and offers a wide range of engine oils for cars, motorcycles etc.
